Dr. Greg Cooper started CAH in 1986 and has been serving Woodland Park, Teller, Park, and El Paso Counties, as well as the greater Ute Pass area for over 33 years. We treat your valued pets like family.

Our professional and courteous staff enjoys helping your pet’s visit to be as smooth and stress free as possible. Chin scratches, belly rubs, and treats can help a lot in that regard!

The hospital is well equipped to provide small animal vaccinations, internal medicine, surgery, radiology, dentistry, laboratory analysis, anesthetic monitoring, pharmacy, nutritional counseling, health certificates and licensing, microchip identification, expert grooming, and dog & cat boarding. We are excited to be able to offer high resolution digital x-rays and digital dental x-rays, along with surgical laser expertise that provides less pain, bleeding, and swelling for our patients.

A class 4 Therapy Laser has been an effective addition over the last number of years to help tackle challenging arthritis cases and many other maladies.

Meet Dr. Cooper

I moved to Woodland Park, Colorado, from a small rural town in Michigan, after graduating from Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, in 1982. Accompanying me was my wife Corinne – my high school sweetheart, MSU graduate in elementary education, and best friend. She has lovingly taught many kids from this area for decades, with great dedication

We’ve lived in Woodland Park now for over 37 years, have been blessed with two grown and happily married children – Cody and Kyli, along with numerous pet family members that we have raised here. We continue to enjoy living in and serving the Woodland Park community..
